What can my family expect at Cedar Point during hallo weekends?
Question by LC: What can my family expect at Cedar Point during hallo weekends?
We are taking are family of 7 to Cedar Point for hallo weekend soon. What can we expect? We have been there in the summer before but never during this time. Any tips during this time? What if we decide to stay the night once we are there? Any decent lodging for a family size this big near by? Is it crowded? Is it similar to the regular times during cedar point? Is it better?

a bit of a revision: my sisters went last weekend, and they told me that it was more crowded than they'd ever seen it...appearantly, there was a four hour wait for the new coaster, and even the magnum had an hour long wait, which is unusual these days even for the regular season.
i'm local,so no lodging tips...although if you aren't on too much of a budget, there's great bear lodge nearby, which has a wonderful indoor waterpark in the hotel, and isn't too expensive.
halloweekends is great, if you like coasters....many of the other smaller rides are closed, though. it can get a bit crowded, but the lines are way shorter than they are during the regular season, because a lot of the people who go are in the haunted houses. they have a few decent haunted houses, not too bloody, but not for the faint of heart...the lines for those can be very long. and they have some fun activities for the younger kids in snoopy land, so you should have a good time, i think.
