I want to watch tv in my bed room. I have a digital tv and comcast cable box. I also have a digital splitter from my old house. I only get one channel, that's 13. Actually i have two digital splitters, a brand new one that was installed by comcast, which i can't unscrew, and the old one from my old house. I live in an apartment now. Can i use the old splitter to hook up my cable? Will it work? And i don't understand why i have to hook up my cable from the wall.

Ooooh that LOCKED cable connection really sucks...it prevents access that you need.

Your only choice is to call Comcast and RENT a second box from them...they'll do the installation for you.
